We Cover the Technologies
That Redefine What's Possible

HMX Technology is an independent media brand dedicated to helping professionals navigate the rapidly advancing landscape of artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, and intelligent computing infrastructure. We analyze the technologies that matter — rigorously, honestly, and always with clear disclosure of commercial relationships.

Signal in the Age of Algorithmic Noise

The technology landscape has never moved faster — and the signal-to-noise ratio has never been worse. Every week brings new model releases, new framework announcements, new claims of AGI imminent or already arrived. Most of it is self-serving noise. Some of it genuinely matters. Our job is to help practitioners tell the difference.

HMX Technology was founded in 2021 by engineers and analysts who believed the existing technology press had a fundamental conflict of interest: most coverage was shaped by access journalism, advertising dependency, and a structural incentive to amplify announcements rather than scrutinize them. We built something different. Rigorous. Transparent. Written for people who actually have to make decisions about technology, not just read about it.

When we publish sponsored content, we say so — at the top, in clear language, without burying it in footnotes. Our editorial coverage and our commercial relationships exist in separate, clearly labeled categories. Readers deserve to know the difference.

Substantive Analysis

We go deeper than the press release and further than the talking points. Every piece we publish is designed to give readers something they couldn't get from the announcement itself.

Radical Transparency

Commercial relationships are disclosed prominently. Corrections are published quickly. Our editorial standards are documented and public. We don't hide what we do or how we do it.

Proportionate Skepticism

AI has genuine transformative potential and real limitations. We cover both without the hype cycles that distort most tech coverage. Extraordinary claims require proportionate scrutiny.

Practitioner Focus

We write for people who build, manage, and deploy technology — not observers commenting from the sidelines. The test for every piece: does it help someone make a better decision?

How We Handle Commercial Relationships

HMX Technology operates a hybrid editorial model. Some of our content is independently funded. Some is sponsored by technology companies. We believe both models can coexist honestly — but only if the distinction is always clear to readers.

Our advertising standards are designed to meet and exceed Outbrain's content guidelines and applicable FTC disclosure requirements. We have never allowed an advertiser to influence our independent editorial coverage, and we have a documented policy prohibiting this.

Sponsored content is labeled at the top. Every advertorial carries a prominent "ADVERTORIAL" or "SPONSORED" disclosure at the beginning of the content — not in the footer, not in small print.
Results claims are qualified. All outcome statistics in sponsored content include appropriate disclaimers that results are not typical and may vary.
Forms disclose data use. Every opt-in form includes clear disclosure of how subscriber data will be used, including any sharing with commercial partners.
Advertisers do not influence editorial content. No sponsor has ever shaped our independent coverage. Advertorial and editorial content is produced by separate teams.
We do not make guarantees of results. Technology outcomes depend on context. We never publish content that promises specific returns, gains, or outcomes.
